Why are Muslims seen blocking the pathways on roads and airports for namaz? Is this a prayer or showing off?

They are blocking the pathways on roads and airports for namaz only as a coordinated show of strength. Sometime they try to provoke the administration and sometime to see what kind of response, if any, comes from the government, local police or municipality. This is nothing to do with shortage of space. In recent years, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has strongly taken up this issue with the street namazis. So, in UP, this trend is on reversal.

But in a congress, communist or INDI Alliance ruled state, these namazis do this as ‘show of strength’, knowing they have ministers and local leaders to support them. Hence the entire administration becomes deaf, dump and mute. Recently in November 2025, the namazis lined up for prayers at Bengaluru Kempegowda International airport, terminal 2. This is despite the airport having private prayer room available. This incident was not even reported in mainstream media but became viral in a social media clip. As expected, there was no response from the ruling congress government as opposition BJP often calls this Karnataka government as ‘jeh@di sarkara’!

But central government should take actions to prevent repeat of such incidents. Airport security is manned by CISF which is under central government. The central government should have transferred from senior CISF officers from the Bengaluru airport. Something similar happened in Chandigarh airport when a lady CISF security person slapped Bollywood film star turned MP Kangana Ranaut.

The root cause of the problem is congress party which was once a national party, has downgraded itself to regional party stature with strong focus on certain minority appeasement focus. The congress top leadership is always abusing the majority Hindu community and giving favours to certain minority community. The congress has become the Muslim League of modern era.

Glorification of tyrant Tipu Sultan and encouraging street namaz is now congress appeasement policy

Top congress leaders admit that congress is only for the Muslims and Election Commission keeps mum

India Today on Instagram: "The Karnataka BJP has criticised namaz being offered at the Bengaluru airport premises, questioning how such an act was allowed in a high-security zone. Party spokesperson Vijay Prasad also sought clarification from Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and IT Minister Priyank Kharge over the alleged approval. According to Prasad, the undated incident took place at Terminal 2 of the Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru. "Did these individuals obtain prior permission to offer Namaz in a high-security airport zone? Why is it that the government objects when the RSS conducts Patha Sanchalana after obtaining due permission from the concerned authorities, but turns a blind eye to such activities in a restricted public area?" he tweeted on Sunday night. “Does this not pose a serious security concern in such a sensitive zone?” he asked, sharing a photo and a video of the undated incident. #BengaluruAirport #Namaz #BJP #Bengaluru #siddaramaiah #ITReels"
