How did historical figures like Jawaharlal Nehru address the objections raised by Muslims regarding 'Vande Mataram'?

Nehru only followed Gandhi ji’s Muslim appeasement policy. Gandhi ji started this by supporting their Khilafat Movement which was nothing to do with India. Gandhi ji also supported them for the Moplah riot in Kerala and instead of calling it a communal holocaust, projected it as peasant rebellion! Gandhi ji also asked minority Hindus in Noakhali to drink poison and disarmed Hindu resistance during Direct Action Day Calcutta riot of August 1946.

Unfortunately, Nehru’s Muslim appeasements only hardened them to pursue separate Pakistan homeland and they succeeded. Nehru under the instruction of MA Jinnah dropped a ‘sensitive’ paragraph of Vande Mataram song which often get sung at congress sessions. But still MA Jinnah left congress and formed a rival Muslim League. The rest is history. The appeasement policy only harmed India and created a rival political party like BJP.

The present day congress still not learnt their lessons for the sake of vote bank politics. They support Palestine all along these years despite Palestinians have no love for Indians these days. Congress has become modern era Muslim League just for certain vote banks and harming the country.

Congress support Islamists of Palestine, Pakistan, Bangladesh just for vote bank

PM Modi Slams Congress's 'Partition Mindset' Over Vande Mataram Truncation
This special report focuses on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address in New Delhi at the inauguration of the year-long celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the national song, Vande Mataram. The Prime Minister's sharpest comment was aimed at the Congress party's history, as he said, 'the youth must know why a part of that critical verse was cut out in 1937'. Speaking at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Mr. Modi launched a commemorative stamp and coin to mark the occasion which begins a year of nationwide events celebrating Bankim Chandra Chatterjee's historic composition. He questioned the 'partition mindset' behind the decision in 1937 by the then-Congress party to adopt a truncated version of the song, which omitted stanzas that some Muslim groups found objectionable. The event featured a mass singing of the full version of Vande Mataram.
