What is the Cockroach Party in India protesting against?
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) which design and distribute school text books, specially history books changes were fully backed by education minister Dharmendra Pradhan as part of implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Pradhan defended the changes, stating that the government is not ‘rewriting’ history, but rather ‘recovering’ it (from the Islamists and communists since Maulana Azad era) by highlighting overlooked national icons.
The modifications to the NCERT syllabus focused on reducing the weight of certain historical eras while elevating others. Substantial portions, chapters, and administrative details regarding the Mughal Empire, the Delhi Sultanate, and the rise of Islam were trimmed or removed from various middle and high school textbooks which irked the Islamist-communist ecosystem. To add more misery for the communists, xxpanded content was added to highlight native Indian empires and rulers, such as the Marathas (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj), the Cholas, the Mauryas, the Ahom dynasty, Sikhs and Maharana Pratap.
Most importantly, specific references to Jawaharlal Nehru were dropped or rationalised. This has made the outgoing education minister Dharmendra Pradhan unpopular to the critics (read communists and Islamists) of such changes.
Historian Ramesh Chandra Majumdar (popularly RC Majumdar) resigned from the Board of Editors (the official history committee) appointed by the Ministry of Education during Maulana Azad era, Government of India, to write the official history of the Indian freedom movement. He disagreed with the government's official, politically-motivated narrative regarding the Revolt of 1857. Following his exit from the official board, he independently authored and published his own seminal work, The Sepoy Mutiny and the Revolt of 1857 followed by the three-volume History of the Freedom Movement in India.
Both RC Majumar and Surendranath Sen were part of Board of Editors who explained how Indian history books were written. As per them, they were clearly told by the senior most Indian government level (read education minister Maulala Azad or PM Nehru) that Indian freedom history ‘must’ start from Gandhi ji in 1919-20. This was the start of agenda driven education system in India which started in Nehru era and continued for decades by the leftists, communist and librandµs who claim to be intellectual because they captured the plum posts in institutes and universities. RC Majumdar quit Board of Editors immediately.
Now you can understand why they were behind education minister Dharmendra Pradhan of Modi 3.0 government. The communists were once a powerful political force in India since independence. In late 1990s, there was a time when Bengal communist CM Jyoti Basu was considered as potential PM (Deve Gowda – IK Gujral era) but today communists are facelessand directionless. Both CPI and CPIM are practically dead in Bengal and Tripura. Congress is now ruling Keralam. These faceless communists are now moving to English media, foreign funded NGOs, RTI agency etc. CJI called them as cockroaches but they are not cockroaches but communists disguised as cockroaches.
Bengali communists love dharna, agitation, street procession and their Godfather Ch!na
True to communist style of functioning, this young man don’t regard the Supreme Court, Constitution of India or the Parliament but has full faith in violence, arson, dharna, anarchy and mobocracy.
