What controversial statement is given by Mahua Moitra?

 There are so many. As a political rival of BJP, Mahua Moitra of TMC may criticize, abuse and mock BJP, its ideology, its leaders including PM Modi. This is part of the game.

But the moment she says India is a bad country just because BJP is ruling since 2014 while Bangladesh is a good country, then it is time to move to Bangladesh permanently. Two major national level anti-minority and anti-Hindu riots happened in Bangladesh in recent times where hundreds of Hindus were targeted and killed, Hindu were forced to resign from government jobs or asked to convert to retain their jobs. These two national level riots happened in October 2021 and August 2024. October 2021 violence started after a video and photos on social media alleged that the Quran was disrespected at a Durga Puja pavilion in Cumilla and August 2024 communal riot happened after Gen-Z students revolted against elected government of PM Sheikh Hasina. Later PM Hasina fled to India and blamed the coup on CIA cabal and USA senior leader Donald Wu so that a puppet government can be installed.

Despite huge human loss and tragedy, no TMC leaders including then CM Mamata Banerjee raised the human rights violation issue in Bangladesh for the sake of minority appeasement and vote bank politics. Congress also followed this appeasement policy and hence continued to raise Palestine issue but kept mum on Bangladesh. If MP Mahua Moitra still loves Bangladesh more than India, knowing the condition of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh and how 33% Hindu population there was reduced to now 8% only, she should happily move to Bangladesh.

This will give her mental peace as there will not be any conflict with BJP or RSS there on daily basis. TMC has lost the 2026 state assembly election and disintegrating fast. There will not be any tola or cut-money available for Mahua Moitra. There is serious double how many existing TMC Loks Sabha MPs will win 2029 general election. It is time to move on.
