Lawyer turned politician P Chidambaram don’t mind being called ‘dimagi naxal’ as long as he can get lefty money from judicial cases. Chidambaram admitted that he is ‘dimagi naxal.
Kapil Sibal is top Supreme Court lawyer. His fee is estimated from Rs 15.5 lakhs to 35 lakhs per appearance in the Supreme Court or Delhi High Court. He charges Rs 11 lakhs to give an oral opinion and Rs 15.5 lakhs for a written opinion. He charges Rs 11 lakhs for petitions and applications and Rs 15 lakhs for written submissions. The high fees is because he is Harvard law graduate, long term associate of congress party and has authority to prioritise or delay cases.

Kapil Sibal’s son protected notorious Delhi criminal don and 1984 Delhi riot mass murdered Sajjan Kumar who was given double life sentence. Congress leaders like Sajjan Kumar was protected by corrupt laywer like Kapil Sibal till 2014 when Modi era began. Sajjan Kumar cases were reopened decades and justice delivered to Sikh family victims in 2018, more than three decades later. Kapil Sibal made a false statement in 2018 that Sajjan Kumar was not given election ticket and not holding any official posts (see link). Now Modi government plans to re-open many Kashmir victim cases between 1989-1995 as many brutal murder cases were supressed by the congress linked judiciary. Sajjan Kumar is in news recently because he died in jail in August 2026.

Lawyer Kapil Sibal added fuel to the fire by announcing Rs 5 Lakhs bounty for Taslima Nasreen head! Is Kapil Sibal a Harvard educated 21st century lawyer or Sharia lawyer of 8th century AD?
