Do you agree with the Ladakh Congress Unit's statement that arresting Sonam Wangchuk will not restore peace and harmony in the region?

Sonam Wangchuk was arrested under NSA in September 2025, two days after violent clashes between protesters and security forces left four civilians dead and over 90 injured in Leh. The Union Home Ministry has directly blamed Wangchuk, a prominent member of the Leh Apex Body (LAB), for allegedly provoking unrest during the agitation demanding statehood for Ladakh and inclusion under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution. He had been on a fortnight-long hunger strike before the violence started. Violence erupted during a bandh call. Wangchuk denied instigating the crowds, condemning the violence and insisting the movement was peaceful. The 24 September 2025 bandh spiralled out of control when a large group of youth marched towards the BJP office in Leh, vandalising property and clashing with police. Security forces responded with firing, which protesters claim occurred without warning or use of crowd-control measures like tear gas.

One has to understand how a naxalite attack happens. It is always planned with large pool of andolan-jivi cadres deployed at the agitation site. Suddenly without provocation these naxalites become violent, attacking innocent people, vandalising properties and attacking police. This sudden violent outburst put security apparatus off-guard as they hesitate to take a strong action on their own people. Similar thing happened here. Sudden Leh violence was led by congress goons.

There will be peace in Ladakh as long as Sonam Wangchuk and his congress goons stay in jail

Sonam Wangchuk went to Pakistan to attend the global climate summit - part of Dawn Media's 'Breathe Pakistan' initiative, reportedly funded by urban Naxalite Teesta Setalvad's Quill Foundation. It is worth noting that Arvind Kejriwal, Ravish Kumar and Sonam Wangchuk are all recipients of the Ramon Magsaysay Award (funded by the US's USAID and Ford Foundation). Such people work against the country by gaining the trust of the public, after getting power. Indian leftists, communists (from Bengal) and urban naxal intellectuals hail them as educated intellectual while mock, abuse and insult all right-wing political leaders as uneducated, cow dung eaters, whatapp university graduate etc.

One need to understand that UT Ladakh which was curved out of J&K state is a Buddhist dominated population. For decades this region demanded a separate identity because all resources and funds allocated by the central government were allocated to the Muslim dominated and militancy infested Kashmir valley. Also this region is a sensitive border state where border dispute and transgression cases happened many times in the past. Two hostile neighbours are constantly collaborating to weaken India in this region.

Islamist and jeh@di population in the sensitive border area is another concern for peace and national security. Sonam Wangchuk’s background also do not give confidence that he will not be controlled by foreign anti-national forces. Sonam Wangchuk’s life is a carbon copy of naxalite Arvind Kejriwal, ex-CM of Delhi. Both of them had technical skills but drifted to politics, both were supported by Ford Foundation, George Soros ecosystem and CIA cabal. Hence both got Magsaysay Award and both are professional ‘anolan-jivi’ who can spend days together protesting on the streets. Hence, Indian leftists, communists, urban naxals etc. admire both these two ‘revolutionary’ leaders. These Indian leftists, communists, urban naxals believe in goon culture and use Islamists to create violence. Congress party today is also heavily supported by the Islamist goons and the September 2025 Leh violence was handiwork of congress leaders who supported Sonam Wangchuk.

Arvind Kejriwal hoped to become PM of a new independent country supported by Khalistani elements in western countries and CIA support. Was something similar was planned by Sonam Wangchuk?
