What is the economic growth in India 2022-2023?
Morgan Stanley, in its latest report, hailed the PM Narendra Modi led Indian government and said that in a short span of 10 years, India has gained positions in the world order with significant positive consequences for the macro and market outlook. A lot has changed in the last decade and ‘India will be in the top 3 by 2027’ in terms of absolute GDP. India was 10th nominal GDP in 2014. The latest news is India clocked 7.2% GDP growth in 2022-23 is 7.2% in a gloomy global economy scenario due to Covid-19 pandemic and Ukraine war which is still going on. India’s GDP growth is much higher than any G-20 countries. China which was driving global economy in the decade 2000s (200-2010) is clocking much less growth than India.
