Why was Arvind Kejriwal called a deserter of causes (bhagora) after submitting the resignation of his first government? Should he have struck a deal and hung on?

Delhi CM Kejriwal was called deserter or bhagora in Hindi as he left his first CM post in 49 days in 2013 to fight national general election in 2014. He thought his sacrifice in Delhi will make him national level politician. But that didn’t happen.

Fast forward a decade. In 2023 Kejriwal again deserted Delhi after central government issued an ordinance to make LG as the final administrative boss after Supreme Court judgement. Kejriwal for last 15 days travelling various state capitals to get support of various political parties against this central ordinance. He again left Delhi high and dry and again proved to be a deserter or bhagora. He is also taking Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann along with him. That means Delhi and Punjab CMs are on long tour.

God save these two states..

“A minor girl is brutally murdered openly in Delhi. This is very sad and unfortunate. The criminals have become fearless, there is no fear of the police. LG sir, law and order is your responsibility, do something. The safety of the people of Delhi is of paramount importance,” Kejriwal said after a brutal murder of 16 year old Shakshi Dixit girl on 29 May 2023.

Later, Kejriwal also announced Rs 10 Lakhs compensation to the girl’s family.

Can you see the difference of blaming other by Kejriwal during Nirbhaya rape case – CM Sheila Dikshit in 2013 and LG in 2023 as per his convenience. This is the reality of leftist urban naxalite politicians. They can do only two things –

• Blame others for a problem but will never take responsibility or build infrastructure.

• Distribute tax payers’ money as dole-out or subsidy and behave like a Robinhood.

Kejriwal will always remain deserter or bhagora from responsibilities.
