How has UP changed under Yogi Adityanath?

Yogi changed UP’s previous Ganga-Jamuna Tehzib to non-violent secularism.

Some political parties can go to the level of supporting criminal history sheeters and dons as they bring money, fear psychosis needed to rule an area, certain vote banks etc. UP, Bjhar and Bengal are classic examples and these are Ganjetic states. It is also called a certain type of social justice, secularism and Ganga-Jamuna Tehzib here. These dons have impressive bio-data – 25 murders, 18 attempt to murders, 35 dacoity, 120 extortion and blackmail, 75 smuggling of fake currency, narcotics, hawala transactions, Pakistani ISI covert support, sheltering SIMI, PFI type organisations etc. After these much of crimes and 100’s of FIRs registered on them across few Indian states, they have only two options left – escape to London or Nepal and second option is to join a suitable political party where their special skills are admired.

These politicians justify criminalization of politics in the name of secularism, Ganga-Jamuna Tehzib etc. because they bring value to the party. But when honest politicians and law abiding police crackdown on these dons and criminals, the political parties which supported them during their hey days, ignore these disgraced criminals for their own reputation. Librandµ media praise them with propaganda like he is a good father, family man, does charity, associated to few social organisation like ’Being Human’ or ‘Paani Foundation’. They also highlight their massive fan following and downplay their criminal record.

But when a democratically ‘fascist’ government comes to power, these librandµ media, Khan Market gang, Lutyens gang cry wolf about Godi media, democracy in danger, judiciary in danger etc. Meanwhile, CM Yogi is working on his step1, step2, step3, step4… etc.

Many states recently (last week of March 2023) witnessed violence and stone pelting on the occasion of Ram Navami Hindu festival. Many people will say, nothing new in this and problem lies with majority community. But not in UP where both majority and minority together celebrated the festival. This is power of secularism brought by Yogi and librandµs don’t like it.
