Will farm leader Rakesh Tikait make an alliance with Congress?
Rakesh Tikait is a failed politician and hence he cannot join or make alliance with congress. He tried his luck in few elections but failed miserably in his home turf of Western UP Jat land. He is now a pawn of congress.
Indira Gandhi created Bhindranwale in Punjab in late 1970s to counter political rival Akali Dal. Bhindranwale became radical terr0r!st over the period of time. During 1982 9th Asian Games in New Delhi, special security arrangements were made to prevent Khalistani propaganda and attack. Then came unfortunate peak of militancy in Punjab, event of ‘Operation Bluestar’ and subsequent assassination of the Army chief Vaidya and PM Indira Gandhi.
Indira Gandhi also created LTTE (Liberation Tiger of Tamil Eelam) who were fighting a separate home land for Tamils in Sri Lanka. There were other Tamil group but they were mostly political like TELA (Tamil Eelam Liberation Army), EPRLF (Eelam People's Revolutionary Liberation Front), TLO (Tamil Liberation Organisation) etc. LTTE was ruthless because its leader V Prabhakaran was trained by Indian Army in 1970s at various Indian military cantonments (garrisons) like Chakrala. Because of this ruthlessness, LTTE became a global terrorist organisation and harmed Indian Army (IPKF deployment in Sri Lanka which was blunder by Indira’s son Rajiv Gandhi) and assassinated Rajiv Gandhi.
On the similar line, Rajiv Gandhi created Mahendra Singh Tikait, a rich farmer from rich sugarcane belt village called Khatauli in Muzaffarnagar district of UP. The objective was to counter V P Singh who was powerful ex-CM of UP, central minister and #2 under him and he exited congress after Bofors scam to project his clean image. V P Singh was constantly blaming Rajiv Gandhi for corruption. As Tikait became famous in UP Jat belt, he started creating problems for congress and PM Rajiv Gandhi. Tikait made many ‘Kisan rally’ road and Delhi city blockade during late 1980s to start his political carrier. During this time his 4th son Rakesh Tikait was in Delhi Police and congress government approached him to break the logjam of reparative Delhi bound Kisan rally of Tikait. Rakesh Tikait supported his father and had to leave Delhi Police. He subsequently became the next Tikait leader and andolan-jivi by profession. During V P Singh, I K Gujral and Chandrashekhar era, Mahendra Singh Tikat’s role was diminished as Charan Singh’s son Ajit Singh was also a Jat leader from west UP, became more dominant. That was the end of Mahendra Singh Tikait’s political carrier.
Fast forward to 2020. Ajit Singh is not alive and congress is in opposition at centre and fighting for survival at UP state. Under this circumstance, Mahendra Singh Tikait’s son Rakesh Tikait suddenly appears from nowhere to lead the agitation against three agro bills passed by BJP government. These agro bills were there in AAP Kejriwal’s 2016 Punjab state assembly and congress’s 2019 general election manifesto. But they must protest against agro bills to revive their political fortune. Here comes Rakesh Tikait, blocking Delhi-UP border highways for more a year. Thus ne becomes next andolan-jivi.
Rakesh Tikait failed politically but became andolan-jivi who gets the funding from left-ecosystem
Congerss trying to create next Bhindranwale in the form of Rakesh Tikait
