What is the single biggest achievement of the Modi government? No opinions, only facts and proof.

Since 2014, PM Modi targeted and nearly destroyed four biggest enemy of India - Congress, Pakistan, Librandµs and China. It is true that China is much bigger superpower and it will take some time and powerful allies to handle China but Modi government is the first since independence who is showing some ‘spine’ to China.

Let’s look at Pakistan in detail.

India revoked most favoured nation status granted to Pakistan in 1990s but Pakistan failed to reciprocate under WTO norms. Hikes import duty to 200% on all Pakistan-origin imports.

Pakistan was hit by $38 Billion loss due to 4 year-long FATF grey listing during the Imran Khan era.

Indian demonetisation of November 2016 led to the steady decline of Pakistani currency value over the years against US Dollar, reduction of fake currency supply, narco-terrorism etc.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is almost bankrupt and blaming India for not playing with them. Similarly, visa for Pakistani actors, comedians, singers etc were curtailed and many started bad mouthing against Indian leaders.

Surgical strikes like Uri and Balakot was followed by ‘accidental BrahMos missile’ firing. Border ceasefire violations and bomb blasts or other terror activities reduced to minimal.

PM Imran Khan’s 4-year tenure highlight was begging from all possible sources. Even search engine gave Imran Khan’s name when beggar word was typed. His successor Shehbaz Sharif is doing same job. Pakistan is now on the brink of Sri Lanka type default.

The economic crisis is bound to impact electricity generation, transport, services, inflation, basic food and vegetable affordability etc. and dire conditions will create more terrorists as the country has plenty of weapons in private hands. Ethnic tensions and Bangladesh 2.0 scenario may emerge.

Economic prospect remains grim as international rating agencies downgraded Pakistan’s rating. Chinese projects under CPEC are stalling, security for Chinese workers deteriorating, bad debt is mounting and win-win cooperation between the two countries turning lose-lose.

India can further squeeze Pakistan by shutting civilian air space over India. Pakistan blocked its air space post Balakot strike and the recent Turkey earthquake relief C-17 plane or PM Modi’s plane were denied air space. If both countries do this, Pakistan’s revenue loss will be more. India has initiated review of Indus Water Treaty (IWT) and if they can abrogate Article 370 which was considered impossible, they can abrogate IWT also without bothering about pushback from China. India and China, anyway, don’t have any firm agreement on river waters and all bilateral agreements were all violated by China. If IWT is scrapped, it will be end of Pakistan.
