The seven day intense gun battle (14-20 September 2023) in J&K has ended with elimination of few terr0rists. The encounter took time as the terr0rists were holed up natural caves there. Finally, Israeli attack drones were used. But the casualty on Indian side is huge. Colonel Manpreet Singh, Commanding Officer, 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Major Ashish Dhonchak, Deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat and a soldier were killed by the terr0rists during initial attack. This is one side of hard-core terr0rism still supported by bankrupt Pakistan. On other side, there is soft terrorism executed by various Pakistani citizens on India. I don’t think so. Sonia Gandhi never respected their own PM Dr. MMS and PVNR. Why should PM Modi respect Sonia Gandhi and her team who called him ‘maut ka saudagar’, neech, chowkidar chor hai, actor, gandi naali ka keeda, etc. when he is the PM of the country. When Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif taunted ex-PM MMS as ‘dehati aurat’ because he went to USA to compain about Pakistan origin terr0rism, Gujatat CM Modi strongly objected any abuse to our PM. Congress leaders never criticize Pakistani who abused to their own PM (considering vote bank politics of most pampered community) but always abused their rival Modi with filthy languages. This is true color of congress. ex-PM Vajpayee said long ago, ‘congress in opposition is worse than congress in power’.  

 Good news for Karnataka tourism. Belur, Halebeedu and Somnathpura are on the world tourism map. The temple architectures are best in the world. This was declared by UNESCO on 18 September 2023. I have visited these temples in 1990s and they are truly world class. It is unfortunate that this site got UNESCO World Heritage tag this year – after 75 year of Indian independence. If you look at Indian list of UNESCO World Heritage site listing, major Mughal architectures and monuments were listed early. Indian PM Modi welcomed this news with pride. It is important to note that first PM Nehru glorified Mughal monuments like Taj Mahal and disliked south Indian Hindu temples (ancient Hindu temples in North India hardly exists after brutal 800 year Islam!c rule).
