How has the CPI (Communist Party of India) managed to remain relevant in Indian politics despite a global decline in communist parties?
The people of the country want to ask a serious question to the media and news channels News18, ZNews, AajTak etc. - Why do you invite a non-existent, baseless, and unsupported political party, CPI, CPM on a TV debate? They are not even considered national parties anymore. Giving a party whose representation is negligible in 28 states and 8 union territories, and confined to Kerala, the status of a national party, and inviting it to a TV debate proves disregard for the public and other parties. It is also extremely surprising that every time the spokesperson for CPI, CPM is the same person named Vivek Srivastava, who has no manners of communication, and considers himself so knowledgeable that he engages in shallow debates even with Hindu monks and religious gurus.
According to statistics, CPI, CPM has become a historic party, which once dominated Bengal and Tripura. In the 2004 Lok Sabha, it had 60 MPs, supporting the UPA government from outside. However, in 2024, its number in the Lok Sabha has shrunk to 8. In the states, only in Kerala is the Left running a government with the Congress. Why is such a party being given the status of a national party? That its spokesperson is invited to every debate? There are numerous parties in the country, such as the Bahujan Samaj Party, Akali Dal, National Conference, Biju Janata Dal, and YSR Congress, which have many times more MPs, MLAs, and vote banks than the Communists, yet they are never invited to every debate. So, what message is being conveyed by having a party with less than one percent of the country's total vote appear on every channel every evening? Importantly, every party's spokesperson keeps changing, but the Left has only one wise man left: Vivek Srivastava, who is present on every channel. And this person is not a representative elected by the people in any election, nor is he the leader of any major mass movement, yet he presents the leftist viewpoint as the ultimate truth on every subject, be it Hinduism, the Ram Temple, the military, foreign policy, or economic policy.
CPI is relevant in India only to create conflict by instigating agitation leading to violence, law and order issue and economic stagnation
Does the channels deliberately chosen a person who spouts nonsense on every issue to increase their TV TRP? Today, the whole world knows how China invests money in media, educational institutions, and think tanks in various countries around the world to further its expansionist agenda. Evidence has emerged in the US, Australia, and several European countries that the Chinese Communist Party funds universities and media there to create narratives favourable to itself. So, aren't there news networks in India that are funded by China too? It spreads anti-India propaganda. This same leftist supported farmer movement, the anti-CAA, was active in the ‘Cockroach Gang’. In such a situation, it's natural to question whether the Communist Party, which even today considers China its ideological role model, supported China in the 1962 war, and opposed the anti-China resolution in Parliament, is being forcibly kept alive on television by the same expansionist funding? Is this funding being provided to certain channels, directly or indirectly, on the condition that they promote leftist views in prime time and denigrate nationalist ideas? This is a serious national security issue. These channels should be investigated. The people of India have completely rejected the Communist Party and its ideology. No one likes or supports its views. Yet, if TV channels are trying to keep it alive, this is nothing more than an abuse of the fourth pillar of democracy. Stopping it is in the national interest. Media and Indian people should boycott ‘deadwood’ communists who are deliberately creating conflicts in Indian society because they are on the payroll of China who wants to create bottleneck in India’s industrial revival.
Vivek Srivastava lives in Delhi, target factory workers in Delhi, promote communist ideology which has no takers in North India for 60 years
Foreign funded and ideologically bankrupt communists can only promote naxalite violence using librandµ urban naxals who claims to be intellectuals
