The name Operation Sindoor, symbolizing marital sanctity in Hindu tradition, was a deliberate choice by the Indian military establishment. Unlike past operations such as Balakot or the massive but prolonged mobilization of Operation Parakram (after Parliament attack in 2001), Op Sindoor was fast, focused, and technically sophisticated. It was a textbook example of escalation dominance—India choosing not just when and how to strike, but also when to stop. Importantly, within 72 hours, India and Pakistan had reopened military hotlines and agreed to a ceasefire effective 5 PM on 10 May 2025. It showed India’s willingness to punish, then pause - a sign of both strength and maturity.

Within a month of Op Sindoor, Israel launched operation ‘Rising Lion’ against Iran’ nuclear facilities. The Israeli army has targeted at least 6 military bases around Tehran. Nuclear bases are also present at 4 of these 6 places. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander Hossein Salami has died in the Israeli attack. According to Al-Jazeera media, two prominent nuclear scientists of Iran, Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi and Fardon Abbasi have also been killed in the attack. Iran's Army Chief Mohammad Bagheri, other senior army officers and some senior nuclear scientists have also been killed in the attack.

USA covertly shipped about 300 AGM-114 Hellfire air-to-ground missiles before the Israeli strike on Iran confirming that Washington had advance knowledge of Jerusalem’s plan to strike Iranian nuclear and military targets early Friday 13th June 2025. US ground-based air-defence assets later helped Israel intercept more than 150 Iranian ballistic missiles fired in response. Clearly Israel has a strong backup called USA. The Op Sindoor also saw Israel became a strong backup of India. Not just Israeli suicide drones were extensively used by India and but also Israeli origin Barak-8 air defence system was used.

Now it is clear that both India and Israel has a strong military backup. They also have the latest technology to strike precisely inside a specific building or airbase hanger. Clearly India is behaving like Israel.
