How would you react if you were a close friend of Delhi High Court Judge Yashwant Varma and asked about the cash recovery incident?

Image
Look at the positive side, the cash recovery at Delhi High Court judge Yashwant Varma’s new Delhi house has led to the Supreme Court initiated a judicial enquiry and subsequently Supreme Court judges agreed to declare their assets. Now I am waiting to know the total assets owned by senior congress lawyers Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi who charges crores per sitting. A small step to free the system from judicial corruption P.S.  -This post is neither spam nor plagiarised material and follows Quora policy Picture source: Google / Respective rightful owner Chief Justice, Supreme Court judges to declare assets to public amid cash row In a bid for greater transparency, all 30 Supreme Court judges will publicly disclose their assets on the court's website. Do people hate Jawaharlal Nehru? Do people love Atal Bihari Vajpayee more than him?

Image
In 1998, AB Vajapyee of BJP was PM and AIADMK was a part of NDA and the alliance swept Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha seats in the general election. However, things became sour when Jayalalitha tried to force Vajpayee into dismissing the state government ruled by rival Karunanidhi of DMK. An angry Jayalalitha quit NDA and withdrew support when Vajpayee refused. In the subsequent parliament voting Vajpayee government lost majority by one vote and resigned in April 1999. He just refused to topple an elected state government for political reason. Compare this with PM Nehru whom congress leaders give credit for the success of Indian democracy (despite many known flaws). Nehru government was the first to dismiss an elected state government on political ground. Nehru dismissed communist government of Kerala in 1959 by imposing President’s Rule. This action caused friction between him and his son-in-law Feroze Gandhi. Recently BJP Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in Rajya Sabha, "......

Can we say Jawaharlal Nehru was a politician and not a freedom fighter? His sacrifices are not even an iota of those made by freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Azad?

Some people may think that Gandhiji, Nehru and congress party’s role regarding independence was a big propaganda as history books are always written by victorious side. The darker side of this congress party dominated independence struggle history books given a feeling that non-congress freedom fighters were completely side-lined in the history books. The worst case is how PM Nehru treated the non-congress freedom fighters and their family during his 16 years PM tenure. The great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh’s family lived in obscurity after independence in Punjab before Bollywood film star Manoj Kumar made a biopic movie ‘Shaheed’ on Bhagat Singh where he played the lead role. Manoj Kumar claimed that Bhagat Singh’s family did not want any money or royalty but a sincere thanks from the nation for martyrs like Shaheed e Azam Bhagat Singh. It was Manoj Kumar who brought a sick Vidhyavati - Bhagat Singh’s mother to Delhi where she met PM Lal Bahadur Shastri. Her other son Sardar Kultar S...

Why do you think West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made accusations against the BJP and the Election Commission of India regarding electoral rolls in West Bengal?

Image
The electoral defeat of Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP party in February 2025 Delhi election has created panic for Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. She has started identification and subsequently deletion of north Indian names from the voter lists as she consider these people vote for rival BJP. She will not take any action on millions of illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshis living in the state. Her party members made huge money by making illegal voter and Aadhar cards for them. They are true assets of TMC. For north Indians, she coined the Bengali term ‘bohiragoto’ or outsiders but illegal Bangladeshis are not outsiders. Illegal Bangladeshis are part of TMC jeh@di goons who can attack, torture, r@pe, or even kill anybody who do not vote for TMC. For Mamata Banerjee, Bollywood film star popularly known as ‘Bihari babu’ Shatrughan Sinha is not bohiragoto and can be given Lok Sabha ticket. Ex-Cricketer Kirti Azad is not bohiragoto. Similarly, ex- Cricketer Yusuf Pathan is also not bohiragoto. Bengal voter...

Who started the Waqf Board?

Image
Waqf Act was first passed in the Parliament in 1954 by Nehru government to appease one particular community where 90% of them demanded separate country called Pakistan but only 10% actually migrated to Pakistan. Many of those who migrated gifted their property to Waqf board while this should come under ‘enemy property’ as happened in Pakistan. Subsequently, it was repealed and a new Waqf Act was passed in 1995 which gave more powers to Waqf Boards. In 2013, this Act was further amended to give far-reaching draconian powers to the Waqf Board to designate the property as 'Waqf Property'. Politicians used this Waqf Borard laws to further appease one community further. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal promised them that his govt will reclaim Mukesh Ambani’s multibillion dollar house which Waqf Board claim as theirs once they form government in Maharashtra. After this Kejriwal’s AAP party got less than NOTA votes in 2019 Maharashtra elections and refused to fight 2024 assembly election. Now...

Is China's economic strategy changing amid rising global pressure?

Image
As USA President Donald Trump’s reciprocal tariff war starts across the global from 2nd April 2025, the stock market across the world is in state of flux. China should be more worried as it is purely export oriented economy. China again behaved like a chameleon and started making sweet talks with India. Chinese leader and Indian President Droupadi Murmu exchanged congratulatory messages on April 1, 2025 to mark the 75th anniversary of bilateral relations between the two countries. The Chinese leader said, China and India should work more closely together, Chinese President Xi Jinping told Indian President Droupadi Murmu, describing their relationship as a “Dragon-Elephant tango,” a dance between their emblematic animals. Mr. Xi said the neighbours should find ways to coexist peacefully and that he was ready to deepen communication and coordination in major international affairs, and jointly safeguard peace in border areas. It was indeed sweet talk as China faced USA tariffs and need al...
