What is the Nehru educational philosophy?

Why isn’t Emperor Ashoka’s birth anniversary celebrated in our country? Despite much thought, no clear answer comes to mind! You too should ponder this questions. This is due to Nehru’s flawed mind set due to his European upbringing and education. Nehru glorified Babur, Akbar etc. and glorified all invaders.

An Emperor whose name is adorned with the title ‘The Great’ by historians across the world. An Emperor whose royal emblem, the ‘Ashoka Chakra’, has been adopted by Indians on their national flag. An Emperor whose royal seal, the "Four-Lion Capital," has been recognized as the ‘National Emblem’ by the Indian government, along with the adoption of ‘Satyameva Jayate’ (Truth Alone Triumphs). A nation where the highest peace time military honour, the ‘Ashoka Chakra’, is named after Emperor Ashoka. An Emperor under his regain Brahmi script was fully developed and it became mother of almost all (except Tamil) modern Indian languages. An Emperor during his time many magnificiant monuments came up like Sanchi Stupa, MP which is an UNESCO heritage monument. An Emperor who ruled over an undivided India (including present-day Nepal, Bangladesh, the entire India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan) — a vast territory that no other king or emperor before or after him has ever governed. During Emperor Ashoka’s reign, 23 universities were established, including Takshashila, Nalanda, Vikramshila, and Kandahar. These universities attracted international students to India for higher education from Buddhist lands of Central Asia and South-East Asia. The period of Emperor Ashoka’s rule is regarded by global scholars and historians as the ‘Golden Era’ of Indian history. During his reign, India was the ‘VishwaGuru’ (teacher of the world), a phrase often heard these days by both PM Modi/BJP suporters and Modi/BJP critics leftist, communist and librandµs who mock PM Modi all the time. India was a ‘Golden Bird’ where People were happy, free from discrimination, and prosperous.

Under his leadership, significant infrastructure like the famous ‘Grand Trunk Road’ was built. On the entire 2,000-kilometer stretch of the road, trees were planted on both sides, and rest houses were constructed. For the first time, not only were medical facilities set up for humans, but ‘hospitals’ were also created for animals. Animal slaughter was prohibited as part of Buddhism philosophy.

Why is the birth anniversary of such a ‘great emperor’ not celebrated in his own country? Blame Nehru and Nehru era communist and leftist historians like Sita Ram Goel and later Romilla Thapar and various other JNU scholars. It is unfortunate that the citizens, who should be celebrating his birth anniversary, have forgotten their history. And those who are aware of it don’t feel the need to celebrate it. Why is it that instead of saying ‘He who wins is Chandragupta’, we say ‘He who wins is Alexander’ (jo jeeta wahi Sikandar)? Everyone knows that seeing the might of Chandragupta Maurya, Alexander’s army refused to fight. Their morale broke, and Alexander had to retreat.

Let us all take a pledge to correct this ‘historical Nehruvian error’. Let us dump the ideology imposed by the leftists, communists and Islamists that ‘Akbar was great’. The New Education Policy (NEP) is just one small step in the right direction.

Nehru created flawed education system with flawed history which glorified invaders
