Olympic wrestlers are continuing their protest against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Singh who happens to be a BJP politician. As time passes, more sportsmen are joining the protest. Without going into blame game, two disturbing things needs to be discussed. Why politicians are heading a sports body? So, politicians always fight to take control of sports bodies under some pretext or other. When congress ruled the country in first 50 years, they managed the sports bodies and now it is BJPs turn. Many eminent sports people objected presence of politicians in sports body but their voice was always supressed.
