Does ethanol blending petrol affect the mileage of the vehicle?

Recently Ch!na blocked rare earth minerals and magnet exports to India. They also blocked speciality fertilizer and certain heavy duty tunnel boring machines used to create city metro or suway transport system. All these were taken by surprise by the Indian government and businesses as they never had any contingency plan as replacement. Lithium is a critical mineral which is used in modern day battery for electric vehicles to smartphone. Bajaj Auto, a leading two wheeler manufacturer in India was the first to raise the alarm that if they don’t get Lithium and rare earth materials from import, they may have to scale down production from August 2025. Due to the panic in the automobile industry, a delegation of business team took Ch!nese visa in order to meet and discuss the issue with government officials there. Their visa was never cleared by the Ch!nese officials and the meeting never took place. The lithium battery pack costs 40-50% of an electric vehicle and Ch!na hold 70-80% control...

Can the Indian Railways use solar power by either placing panels on trains or in unused areas around the tracks?

Image
This is deployment of solar panels right on the tracks in Switzerland. Deployment of solar power near Indian Railway tracks land which belong to the railways, on rail coach roofs, railway building and stations are nothing new. These initiatives are going for many years. Now Indian Railway has deployed a prototype of 15 kWp solar panels on the railway tracks. This test need to pass the oscillation and vibration tests as micro-cracks on solar panel glass may reduce its efficiency. There are other issues which is typical to Indian scenario – theft and damage to the public property which is not properly guarded. Hence, large scale deployment of solar power in rail tracks may have its limitations. But if this pilot project succeeds, this can be implemented across the Indian cities metro rail elevated sections where access is highly restricted and also Namo Bharat rapid transit trains (like Delhi-Meerut) which may come up in future. The current Modi government working on various solar projec...

Will India's assemble in India one day lead to Make in India? China did the same thing.

Image
After selling millions of mobile smartphones with imported tempered glass for mobiles since 2012, India finally launched a factory in Noida, Delhi NCR to locally make tempered glass. This is an example of ‘Make in India’ but it should have happened long back. The domestic market for tempered glass is estimated at more than 500 million pieces in 2025 with a retail value of approximately Rs 20000 crore, showcasing a large-scale opportunity in the country. The global market is worth over USD 60 billion. Clearly, there is room for more manufacturing in this segment. Another good news is that PSU BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Ltd) initiated manufacturing of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) as India recently faced delay in supply of these items they purchased from China. China deliberately blocked them at customs clearance along with rare earth minerals, magnets and speciality fertilisers. China is doing all possible tricks to block industrial growth of India. What is the lasting legacy of the Nehru family and Congress party in India?

Image
The lasting legacy of Nehru family and congress party in India is Musl!m appeasement even at the cost of national security. This was recently seen in in post Pahelgam, J&K massacre, Operation Sindoor air battle with Pakistan, Karnataka government appeasement policies etc. in 2025. Calcutta (now Kolkata) city was rocked by a massive communal violence in August 1946 which was started by the Musl!m League goons to include that city in proposed Pakistan. Thousands of people died in a riot called ‘Direct Action Day’. This was followed in October 1946 at Noakhali which was even more horrible. Jawaharlal Nehru was confirmed to become PM of independent India soon. He was sleeping on these anti-Hindu riots. As a reaction to these anti-Hindu riots, an anti-Muslim riot broke out in Bihar. This time Nehru became super active and threaten to bomb the Bihar villages which will indulge in anti-Muslim riots. This double standard was followed by all congress dynastic leaders. Wah! Nehru, wah! What ...
