Did Nehru had Muslim admirers?
If you go to minority higher education institutes like Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), you will find many Muslim students and professors who admire Nehru’s policy of appeasement which created ‘mini Pakistans’ inside India.
An NGO ‘Call for Justice’ submitted a 65 page report claiming discrimination against non-Muslims at Jamia Millia Islamia, NewDelhi campus which includes instances of religious bias, forced conversions, and threats targeting Hindus within the campus. The report includes testimonies of 27 individuals, including seven professors, eight employees, ten students, and some alumni. The report has been submitted to Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, the Ministry of Education, and Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena in November 2024.
This type of threat is not new. Dr. Abrar Ahmad, an assistant professor of JMI, was suspended in March 2020 for claiming in a tweet that he failed 15 non-Muslim students for supporting the CAA legislation. Considering the nature of this ‘minority institute’ which gets annual funding of Rs 550 crore from Govt. of India and secularism injected in Indian society since Nehru era, these king of threats and intimidation must have been going on since independence. Things gets highlited now just because there is a strong Modi government at the centre which is fighting against all type of congress induced appeasement and jeh@di mentality.

Just like Waqf Board, JMI needs a radical surgery
