Why was Nehru always loyal to British Crown? Was he a British stooge as he was loved by Edwina and Louis Mountbatten? Why was he never sent to Andaman but was planted as British puppet to rule India?

Image
Nehru was loyal to the British crown and he always remained thankful to them. While millions of people sacrifice their lives for Indian independence, within and outside the congress party, Nehru got the best award. Nehru retained King George statue at the India Gate canopy, New Delhi. It was removed after his death, during Lal Bahadur Shastri era. PM Modi installed Subhash Chandra Bose statue on the empty India gate canopy. Did Subhash Chandra Bose belonged to Hindu Mahasabha, Jana Sangh or BJP? No. He belonged to congress. PM Modi installed his statue because he was a great patriot. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Jawaharlal Nehru. Picture source: Google / Respective rightful owner

Did Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru committed a big blunder by accepting Tibet as an integral part of China? How would things have been different if Tibet would have remained a disputed territory between India and China?

What can India do in the Indus Water Treaty?

Image
Indian PM Jawaharlal Nehru went to Karachi in 1960 to sign Indus Water Treaty (IWT) with rival Pakistan which was being ruled by military dictator Gen. Ayub Khan. PM Nehru hoped that by generously giving 80.5% of Indus basin river waters consisting of six rivers to Pakistan will create a lasting peace. More than that Nehru perhaps hoped that this IWT may help him win a Noble Peace Prize. Nehru cabinet was desperately trying to get his prize so that his international Statesman status reaches sky high among the third world countries. Nehru’s cabinet and well-wishers nominated Nehru’s name for a record eleven times out of sixteen years when he was Indian PM. After securing 80.5% of Indus basin waters, Dictator Gen. Ayub planned to annex Kashmir region itself as most Indus basin rivers flow from this area. That opportunity came in 1965 after India’s border war defeat with China in 1962. Gen. Ayub launched unprovoked war with India with ‘Operation Gibraltar’. Luckily for India, Nehru was no...

What is the strategy of the Indian National Congress when it has brought out the issue of vote chori?

Image
The congress strategy is simple – chor machay shor… Jawaharlal’s father Motilal Nehru had a major role to play in Jawaharlal’s undeserved elevation. Motilal was the congress President in 1928. He desired that his position be inherited by his son. Subsequent to Patel’s Bardoli win, Motilal wrote to Gandhi on 11 July 1928 - “I am quite clear that the hero of the hour is Vallabhbhai, and the least we can do is to offer him the crown [make him President of the congress]. Failing him, I think that under all the circumstances Jawahar would be the best choice.” Motilal actively canvassed for Jawaharlal with Gandhi. Vote chori by Motilal Nehru Congress party had to choose a new President in 1946 who is most likely to be the leader of Independent India. There were 15 Provincial congress committees in the country, and out of them, 12 supported Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for the top position and three abstained. Jawaharlal Nehru did not get support from any of them. Nehru refused the result and Gan...

Will PM Modi be able to resolve the issues that Trump has brought up regarding buying Russian oil?

Image
It is in the interest of both India and USA to resolve this Russian oil purchase and subsequent tariff issue as it spiralling out of control. This completely negates the positive diplomatic initiatives developed between the two countries in last 25 years, especially after the 9-11 New York tragedy in 2001 which has its link with Pakistan. A decade later, Os@ma Bin-Laden was eliminated inside Pakistan. USA realised its mistake and started developing good relations with India. Have you ever wondered why Iranians call America the "Land of the Devils"? Once, Britain had a stranglehold on Iran's oil, with 84% of the profits going to England and only 16% to Iran. In 1951, a true patriot, Mohammad Mossadegh, became the Prime Minister of Iran. He didn't want foreign companies to control Iran's oil resources. On March 15, 1951, Mossadegh introduced a bill to nationalize the oil industry, which was passed with an overwhelming majority. Time Magazine named him "Man of t...

My friend who is a Modi bhakt has stopped eating food after Trump's decision to impose tariff on India. How should I console my friend?

Donald Trump on Truth Social…50% tariff, plastered on India. We didn’t blink. EU protested. Japan negotiated. China retaliated. India? Calm. No panic. No midnight flights to Washington. No ‘urgent bilaterals.’ Why? Modi’s ego? Blind nationalism? Or… something darker? A game running 11 years deep. May 2014. South Block. First briefing. Is the Indian economy dead as Trump said?

Image
It is unfortunate that USA President who holds one of the most important position in the world geopolitics, has lost his mind. Clearly, he is surrounded by incompetent advisors. Trump called India as ‘tariff king’ and ‘dead economy’! The dead economy barb was unfortunate and proves that Trump is living under a rock, away from reality. Indian foreign affairs diplomat refused to comment on Trump’s ‘dead economy’ comment. Modi government kept mum and let the data do the talking. Indian Reserve Bank and State Bank made Q1 2025-26 (April-June 2025) projected 6.5-7% GDP growth. Foreign consultancy, FII etc. also projected similar projections. The actual result was much higher 7.8%. Clearly India is not a dead economy! Trump is sleeping and hence can’t see Indian growth story This was government GDP growth projection This is what Indian economy delivered – 7.8% Q1 GDP growth. China growth in this period was 5.2% India remains among the best performing economies in the world. It staged a remar...
