Why is Priyanka Vadra naming her kids “Gandhi” even though they are Vadra?

Do you recognise this politician? His name was Rajeshwar Prasad Singh Bidhuri.

PM Indira Gandhi received a call from her personal assistant that an Indian Air Force Flight Lieutenant Rajeshwar Prasad Singh Bidhuri from Saharanpur wants to meet her. While rummaging through files, Indira Gandhi said, send him inside the cabin. Rajeshwar Bidhuri arrived at the cabin and hands Indira Gandhi some documents, saying... Madam, here's my resume. I want to contest the next Lok Sabha elections from the Baghpat seat on a congress ticket. Indira Gandhi was impressed with his courage.

After a brief exchange, Indira Gandhi said to Lieutenant Bidhuri, ‘the Baghpat seat is very complex due to caste considerations, but I believe your future lies bright in the Air Force. You should serve the country now. My best wishes are with you...’. Lieutenant Bidhuri said, Madam, I wasn't afraid of danger even when I carried out heavy bombing raids on Pakistan with my jets during the 1971 war. Currently, I have taken VRS. With this, Lieutenant Bidhuri left Indira Gandhi's cabin.

A few months later, Lieutenant Bidhuri receives a call from Delhi. Hello Captain, I'm Sanjay... Sanjay Gandhi... You have to contest the Lok Sabha seat of Bharatpur (Rajasthan) on a congress ticket. Actually, based on caste equations, the Gujjar-dominated Bharatpur seat was perfect for Lieutenant Bidhuri. After this Lieutenant Bidhuri pulled out a map to find out where is Bharatpur located in India!

When Lieutenant Bidhuri arrived in Bharatpur to file his nomination, the local people and congress workers refuse to recognize him and said, ‘we were told a pilot is coming and will contest from here’. The news reaches Sanjay Gandhi in Delhi, and he calls Lieutenant Bidhuri again. ‘Hello Captain, please change your name first to Rajesh Pilot’. The next day, Lieutenant Bidhuri goes to the court (tehsil) and files an affidavit to change his name. Yesterday's Flight Lieutenant Rajeshwar Bidhuri had become today's congress politician Rajesh Pilot. He wins Bharatpur 1980 Lok Sabha seat despite being outsider just because of caste factors and the rest is history.

This story shows how easy for congress leaders to change name. Jawaharlal Kaul became Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Nehru became Indira Gandhi after her marriage with Feroze Jehanghir Ghandy, Sanjiv Gandhi (younger brother of Rajiv Gandhi) became Sanjay Gandhi overnight after facing a legal problem abroad, Edvige Antonia Albina Maino became Sonia Gandhi after marriage and recently Priyanka Vadra’s son Raihan Vadra became Raihan Rajiv Gandhi!

This fake Nehru-Gandhi dynasty can change their names with fall of a hat if that benefits politically. They are just fooling Indians for 3-4 generations with fake names and playing caste game.
