Initially PM Nehru supported Sheikh Abdullah of Jammu & Kashmir as the leader of this state and he tried to downgrade the Maharaja Hari Singh due to various reasons. But this arrangement failed within few years. In 1995–1996, Mulayam Singh Yadav was the CM of Uttar Pradesh but Azam Khan was ruling the state and was implementing his entire Jeh@di agenda. The congress party has started celebrating defeats. After Delhi 2025 assembly election defeat of AAP, ex-CM Atishi Marlena was seen celebrating her own election win in the streets of Delhi. Why she is celebrating her win when almost the entire top AAP leaders including Arvind Kejriwal lost the election? Because she will be the new boss of AAP inside the Delhi assembly. Similarly, congress leader Sandeep Dikshit (son of ex-CM Sheila Dikshit) lost New Delhi assembly seat being a distant third to BJP candidate Pravesh Verma and AAP candidate Arvind Kejriwal. But he is still happy that the votes he got ensured defeat of Arvind Kejriwal who defeated her mother Sheila Dikshit in 2013 and 2015 Delhi elections. The landslide BJP win in Delhi 2025 election was not a surprise to me. On 31 January 2025, six days before the election date, I predicted a landslide win for BJP in Delhi election with this figure in my previous post along with reasons (link attached).. BJP – 55-60 seats AAP – 8-12 seats Congress – 0-2 seats (maximum) This is fairly true considering BJP vote share increased massively to 49% from long term average of 35-38%. If 11-12% vote share increase was observed, it is a clean sweep and total seat count can be anywhere between 50 to 60 out of total 70 seats. The reason for this vote share increase is simply people started disliking Kejriwal for various reasons. Just the Sheesh Mahal corruption is not the only rreason. Even Kejriwal’s pet dog on social media, Dhruv Rathee admitted that Kejriwal has done nothing in last 10 years!
