Why Indian history books revolves only around Gandhi, Nehru and INC?

In 1948, Prof. Ramesh Chandra Majumar or RC Majumdar as popularly known, submitted a proposal to the Government to write an authentic and truthful history of the freedom struggle. In 1952 the education ministry appointed a Board of Editors for the compilation of the history. Professor Majumdar was appointed by the Board as the Director and entrusted with the work of sifting and collecting materials and preparing the draft of the history. The board also consisted academicians who are communists and some were close to Nehru family. Clearly there was discord in the team which could not work properly and this board was dissolved by end of 1955. RC Majumdar studied BA and MA from Presidency College, Calcutta (now Kolkata), he was history professor at University of Calcutta for seven years. He became Vice-Chancellor of University of Dacca (Dhaka) for five years (1937-1942) and shifted to BHU, Varanasi. Being an academic historian, RC Majumdar was close to President Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Vi...

The top priority of Delhi BJP 2025 government should be to proactively arrest or disband the jeh@di ecosystem that Arvind Kejriwal built in last 10 years. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the most recognized leader of the Muslim League said in 1946, "We have taken the most important historic decision. Today we have abandoned constitutional measures. We have a gun and we are ready to use it”. As August 16 August 1946 drew near, preparations began for response to his call of “Direct Action Day”. The Muslim League waged jihad against the Hindus in all the metropolitan and small towns. In Sindh and Punjab Police, 70% were Muslims. They were 50% in the United Provinces {then Uttar Pradesh} and Bengal. The snake of the Muslim League was spewing fire all around. Bengal Chief Minister Suhrawardy and his right hand Mujibur Rahman, who later became the President of Bangladesh, held the command for the heinous Kolkata massacre. It would be pertinent to know that the role of Mujibur Rahman whom we saved...

Who opposed Jawaharlal Nehru and why?

In 2024 after an Islamist government was formed under Mohamad Yunus, minorities in Bangladesh are not worried about food, inflation, housing, unemployment, free water and electricity, pothole in the roads, caste system and reservation etc. They are worried about how to save their lives and their children. They are worried about how to save their life, property and honour of their women. The problem is not new. As soon as Lord Curzon divided Bengal in 1905 to create ‘divide and rule’ policy, fire started burning in East Bengal (now Bangladesh) which has Muslim majority population. Muslim League political party was formed. This party was totally communal as the name suggests and this was not formed in Delhi, Calcutta, Bombay, Karachi or Lahore. It was formed by Khawaja Salimullah in Dhaka (then called Dacca) in 1906. This outfit was created to act as a counter weight to the Indian National Congress and weaken its hands in dealing with the British by not accepting that INC represented all...
