In this week (last week of October 2024), Waqf Board claimed 40 acres of land around the Kanifnath temple in Ahmednagar (Ahilyanagar) in Maharashtra. Waqf Borad also claimed 750 acres of land in outskirts of Hyderabad, Telengana. Waqf Board also claimed 1200 acres of land in Vijayapura district, Karnataka. The important thing to be noted here is congress is in Govt in Telengana and Karnataka. Powerful congressmen are controlling the state Waqf Baord and Waqf ministry.
