Why is Narendra Modi against press interviews?

PM Modi once said, ‘if I drink water, opposition congress leaders will say ‘Modi ko paani pila diya’ (we made Modi drink water). Obviously, that will be a big breaking news for librandµ media who thrive on sensational news. Today TRP is most important for media.

Why Modi said so? This is the way Indian media works.

Modi : I only eat one single fruit in this Navratri.

NDTV : Breaking news ...Modi does not like Mangoes; Banana; etc. He only eats Papaya.
