Will I.N.D.I.A. create a positive impact on Indian voters?

Image
The creation of opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A. will have an impact based on multiple factors like preference for a particular party, their political promises, perception of those leaders, the need for a dynamic, progressive, prosperous future for its citizens. Besides many parameter, one important parameter is how effective these coalition partners in the past. One must remember the old proverb –  those who do not learn from history, becomes history . We all know that they don’t eye-to-eye to each other but formed the alliance to protect their dynastic party from losing credibility. This already happened with a regional party BSP and their leader Mayawati refused to fight election jointly with congress in 2022 UP state election even when congress offered them CM post. It is difficult for these 28 parties which formed alliance called I.N.D.I.A. just before the 2024 general election to prevent Modi becoming PM for the third time but if they jointly fight, they may survive to fight 2029 e

How was once India's prosperous state West Bengal turned into a cesspool of corruption by communists and their disciple Mamata's Trinamool?

Kumardhubi, a small industrial town on Bengal-Jharkhand border, hosted some leading engineering companies, including McNally Bharat, a foundry that was then India’s largest and most specialized, and a fire-brick plant that was a frontrunner in its field. The ancient national highway that connected India’s capital, Delhi, to its industrial powerhouse, Calcutta, meandered through the towns of Kulti and Asansol with large manufacturing firms such as Indian Iron, British Oxygen, Carew’s Gin, Chittaranjan Locomotives, Bengal Coal, Pilkington Glass, Martin Burn, Sen Raleigh Cycles, amongst hundreds of smaller ancillary units employing millions of people. As you drove eastwards, you crossed the towns of Raniganj with its huge collieries, previously privately owned and managed by erstwhile giants such as Bird & Company, Thapars, and the Tatas, IISCO steel at Burnpur. The highway cut through Durgapur, which had a massive steel plant, a fertilizer factory, and dozens of smaller engineering a

Why has the selling of the brand Rahul Gandhi not been a success for the Congress?

Image
Rahul Gandhi and congress focuses on their past and present dynastic leaders rather than welfare of people. Rahul Gandhi propagates a lot of fake and half-truth stories to glorify his ancestors. One such tweet was this. Rahul claims his late father Rajiv Gandhi brought down youth voting rights from existing 21 years to 18 years. Congress always hailed this incident as ‘revolutionary’ considering youth involvement in our country who represent the future. The reality is quite different. Attached is news clip and links which proved that Rajiv Gandhi government in 1989 opposed lowering of voter age to 18. His government had highest 400+ Lok Sabha MP in 1985 general election following Indira Gandhi assassination. Despite this, he was nervous about 1989 election prospect due to infamous Bofors scam.  His government strongly objected reducing voting to 18 years in Parliament as they found unemployed youths will prefer opposition parties.  Exactly this happened in 1989 election. Do you agree with Kajol when she says that we are being governed by uneducated politicians? Is there any study to prove this? What can be done to have more educated people in politics?

Recently Bollywood actress Kajol made a controversial statement that political leaders in India are uneducated. What was the need of this statement? Is it just for publicity as she starts a web series on legal matters? Many people considered it was directed against PM Modi because Kajol Devgan (nee Mukherjee) made the statement during an interview with leftist librandĀµ media ‘The Quint’ (these librandĀµs consider themselves journalists). She was heavily trolled by Modi/BJP supporters and hence she had to issue a clarification. PM Modi’s education, family background, caste etc. do not matter at all due to his continious election wins for last 2 decades based on pure economic performance, in Gujarat and then rest of India. His leadership qualities is appreciated nationally and internationally. It is important to re-look into the issue she raised. When Nelson Mandela became South Africa President in early 1990s, after spending decades in jail under apartheid regime, his top priority was qu
