India as the current President for G-20 will hold around 200 meeting across the Indian cities in 2023 and the process has already started. A recent G-20 meet in Arunachal Pradesh needs special mention. On 25 March 2023, PM Modi inaugurated Bengaluru’s Whitefield-Krishnarajapura section of Namma Metro and he purchased a ticket to travel in it. He also purchased metro ticket while inaugurating Pune, Nagpur, Kanpur, Noida (Delhi Metro Magenta line from Botanical Garden to Okhla Bird Sanctuary in Noida) Metro etc. As a PM he need not to purchase a ticket but he does every time as PM Vajapyee did the same while inaugurating India’s second Metro – Delhi Metro in 2002. The Indian PM Modi is only propagating Indian culture to the outside world as symbol of India’s soft power just like Bollywood movies are India’s soft power.
